Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the programme “SimplyTajweed on Your University Campus,” delivered by SimplyTajweed Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By registering for this programme, you agree to these Terms.

You acknowledge that this programme has been heavily discounted to increase accessibility for university students. As a result, certain resources included in the full professional SimplyTajweed course are not included in this version.

2. Eligibility

This programme is open to:

• Current students of the university hosting the programme,
• Students from other universities, and
• Participants who are not currently enrolled in any university.

3. Programme Pricing

A. Host-University Student Rate (£80)

Available to current registered students of the university at which the programme is being taught.

B. External Participant Rate (£120)

Applies to:

• Students attending other universities, and
• Participants who are not university students.

C. University-Supported Rate (£60)

Available only where the host university provides a subsidy for its students. (Currently applies only to the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.)

4. Payment Conditions

• No instalment plans are available.

• Payment must be made before the registration deadline.

• Failure to pay by the deadline means you will not be enrolled and must reapply the following academic year.

• Registration applies only to the current year’s cohort; future cohorts cannot be reserved.

• All payments are strictly non-refundable.

• Payment is made online using the methods provided during registration.

• SimplyTajweed Ltd does not reserve course places without completed payment.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All payments are non-refundable once charged..

Withdrawal after payment does not entitle you to a refund or fee adjustment.
Missed sessions do not qualify for refunds, partial refunds, or alternative arrangements.

6. What the Programme Includes

Students enrolled in this programme receive:

• Over 40 hours of live, face-to-face Tajweed teaching,
• A comprehensive printed course book,
• Lifetime access to the corresponding course audio resources,
• Eligibility for the SimplyTajweed+ discounted rate, if applied for within the designated window.

SimplyTajweed+ (ST+) is SimplyTajweed’s weekly online Qur’an recitation programme delivered live in small groups (maximum 6 students), taught by qualified instructors, and includes full access to the SimplyTajweed online course library.

7. Supplementary Resources

No supplementary materials are provided beyond the printed course book. Additional resources may only be issued in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of SimplyTajweed Ltd.

8. Missed Lessons

If a participant misses a lesson, they must notify their teacher via private message. Failure to notify your teacher of an absence prior to the lesson will result in an unauthorised absence being marked. Messages sent in the group chat do not count as notification and will be treated as unauthorised absence. Three (3) unauthorised absences will result in removal from the course, with no refund. 

No lesson recordings or make-up classes are provided for student absences.

9. Conduct & Restrictions

You must not:

• Record lessons without explicit instructor permission,
• Share login details for any online portals provided,
• Download or save course materials unless explicitly authorised,
• Redistribute SimplyTajweed materials in any form,
• Use SimplyTajweed materials for paid teaching or commercial services.

10. Graduation & Examinations

Completion of the programme does not guarantee certification.

Certification is awarded only if the participant chooses to sit and passes the optional end-of-course exam, based on the assessment criteria set for that academic year.

11. Legal & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England. We encourage informal communication to resolve any issues before pursuing formal or legal processes.
