Free
school meals
A letter from the school/college, or local council confirming eligibility to receive free school meals.
16-19 bursary
Or EMA
An official award letter for this academic year if you are a student.
Universal
credit
If you/your immediate family receives Universal Credit, then they can provide a recent statement.
Employment and Support Allowance
If you, or your immediate family receives this, then you can provide a letter from the UK Jobcentre Plus.
Asylum
Support
If you or your immediate family receive this support, then you can provide a letter.
Working or
Child Tax Credit
If the student or a family member is in receipt of Tax Credits, then they can provide a letter. The student must be named on the award.
